Reporting a number that looks wrong

Corrections are the most useful messages we get. To help us find the problem quickly, include:

• Which calculator you used (the page name or link).
• The numbers and choices you entered.
• The result you got, and what you expected instead.
• If you have it, a link to the official rule or notice that shows the right figure.

Confirmed fixes are listed on What changed, with the date and who may have been affected.

What we can't help with

BenefitMath is an independent calculator site, not a government agency. We can't look up your case, check the status of an application or claim, or tell you whether you'll be approved. Please don't send Social Security numbers, case numbers or other personal records.
