All calculations happen inside your web browser. The numbers you enter (income, age, household size, ratings and so on) are never sent to BenefitMath or stored on any server. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms that collect your name, email, or contact details.
To save you from retyping, each calculator remembers your last entries using your browser's local storage. That information exists only on your device. You can erase it anytime by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
BenefitMath is free because it shows ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, through a consent message provided by Google. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that message adds to the page.
Ad partners may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, under their own privacy policies. BenefitMath doesn't receive or see the numbers you enter into calculators, and never shares them with advertisers.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (like IP addresses) for security. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Links to government and other sites take you off BenefitMath, and their own privacy policies apply there.
BenefitMath is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. It doesn't knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
